AN ELEGANT AND GRACEFUL BEDROOM
Named after two women. Anna Marie Stanhope (1783-1857) a friend of Queen Victoria and Lady of the Bedchamber, who is credited with inventing afternoon tea in about 1840. And the flying Duchess, Mary du Caurroy. A nurse, radiologist, ornithologist, aviator, feminist and suffragette (1865-1937).
Smuggler
Smuggler has a king bed, and walk-in shower and is our snuggest king room.
Architect
Architect has twin single beds that zip-link to form a super-king. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower.
Farmer
Farmer has twin beds that operate as two singles, or zip-link to form a super-king. Disabled access bathroom, with very large walk-in shower. Available as an adjoining suite with Poacher.
Poacher
Poacher has a king bed and walk-in shower and is available as an adjoining suite with Farmer.
Duke
The Duke boasts a super-king bed, original stained-glass windows, and views over our terrace.
Duchess
The Duchess is a near mirror image of the Duke, with super-king bed, similar views over our terrace, original stained-glass windows, a bath and a large walk-in shower.
